Studio Safety

At our Pilates studio, the safety and well-being of our clients is our top priority. We have implemented the following policies to ensure that all participants can enjoy a safe and effective workout experience. To maintain safety standards, participants must wear gripped socks during all studio sessions, barefoot or non-grip socks are strictly prohibited whilst in the studio.

  • Reformer Safety: Our reformers are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure that they are in good working condition. Clients are required to follow the instructions of their instructor when using the reformers, and to use caution when adjusting the springs or performing exercises. If you are unsure about how to use the equipment, please ask your instructor for assistance.

  • Class Safety: Our yoga and Pilates classes are designed to be safe and accessible for all levels of fitness. However, it is important to listen to your body and work at your own pace. If you have any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions, please inform your instructor before class so that they can provide modifications as needed.

  • Injury Prevention: To prevent injury, it is important to warm up properly before class and to cool down and stretch afterwards. Our instructors will guide you through these processes, but it is ultimately your responsibility to take care of your body. If you experience any pain or discomfort during class, please stop and inform your instructor immediately.

Here at Reform You, we are committed to providing a safe and effective workout experience for all of our clients. To help us achieve this goal, we require all clients to disclose any relevant health or medical information before participating in our classes or using our equipment.

  • Health Disclosure: Before your first session, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire. This will include questions about your current fitness level, any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions, and any medications you are taking. It is important that you answer these questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge, as this information will help us to tailor your workout program to your individual needs.

  • Medical Disclosure: If you have any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate in our classes or use our equipment, it is important that you inform us before your first session. This includes conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or pregnancy. • Ongoing Disclosure: If your health or medical status changes at any point during your time with us, it is important that you inform us as soon as possible. This includes changes to your medication, the development of new injuries or medical conditions, or changes to your overall fitness level. We will work with you to adjust your workout program as needed to ensure that you can continue to participate safely.
